Yes, but do you like my hat?

“In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it – you’ll be the grandest fella in the Easter Parade”.

Every Easter Sunday, hundreds of people join the free-form Easter Parade in New York City.  Men and women of all ages don fantastic headgear and their Sunday best and process along Fifth Avenue.  Traffic stops from 49th Street up to around 57th Street so hat-wearers can parade, and non-hat wearers can admire them.

With outfits ranging from the elegant to the ridiculous, it is an easy and totally free way to soak up some New York atmosphere and walk off all those chocolate eggs.
